ABOUT
BUILD, PRESERVE, & RESTORE
I'm a preservation / restoration carpenter and woodworker. I call McMinnville, OR home and am currently restoring the 104 year old Craftsman style house that my wife and daughter share with me. I'm a member of the McMinnville Historic Landmark Committee and work to ensure that local landmarks are protected and celebrated.
I graduated from the North Bennett School for Preservation Carpentry in Boston, Massachusetts, which is the oldest trade school in the country. I have extensive experience in preservation carpentry work and specialize in furniture preservation, CNC machines, window repair/preservation/restoration. Basically anything from Frame to Finish.
During my 15 plus years in the field, I have worked on a variety of public -facing projects, including:
• Paul Reserve House in Boston, MA (1680)
• Josiah Quincy House (1770) in Quincy, MA
• Otis House in Boston, MA (1796)
• John Greenleaf Whittier Home and Museum in Amesbury, MA (1829)
• Harvard’s Peabody Museum of Archeology and Ethnology in Cambridge, MA
• Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, MA
• Harvard University’s Museum of Natural History
